I have an extremely exciting opportunity as an applied AI/ML and advanced analytics business solutions director where our clients' unique platform helps companies drive significant growth and profits. They have already established and had success with regard to leading Fortune 500 companies across sectors.
In this exciting role as a Businesses Development Solution Director you will share a pertinent part assisting Fortune 1000 clients shape their future journeys in the fast-moving Big Data Analytics & ML/AI categories. My client is looking for several unique and highly motivated individuals to help establish and build new customer relationships in order to fuel growth. My client is also looking for candidates who can talk a bit deeper on the technical experience, customer facing, and thinking on your feet while understanding pain points and providing solutions to those problems.
This is not a traditional Business Development role. You will work closely with a strong cross-functional team (Pre-Sales, Platform & Solution Management, Analytics, & Delivery SME's) to guide prospects through the buying process, frame new solutions, demonstrate value of this client, and convert / grow new customer relationships. This will be complemented by a Lead Gen / Content Marketing engine and partner channel strategy that will identify leads and potential opportunities. We're looking for smart, collaborative, problem solvers that want partner with customers on this transformational big data & analytics journey.
5-10 years' experience in management consulting or analytic services, and/or software solution sales
o 2-3 years' experience in Business Development or Pre-Sales role
o Established track record of selling new solutions and innovative products
Strong understanding of big data, advanced analytics / ML / AI, and Customer Management & Marketing
o Effective working across different business and technical buyers
o Comfortable working across business and technical domains (e.g. marketing strategy, data management, predictive analytics)
Horizontal, functional experience is top priority
Vertical experience in Retail, Telco & Media, BFSI, Travel & Hospitality, & B2B most desired
Hands-on problem solver that's able to identify customer's pain points, frame them and prop, story, and value/benefits effectively
Have the ability to pattern match across sales situations and identify key trends and customer needs. Make course corrections to convert new business and provide feedback to Solution Management / Pre-Sales to continuously improve.
Ability to effectively develop opportunities and manage across the sales funnel (from leads to closed deals)
Work in team-selling model with strong ability to collaborate with Pre-Sales, Solution Management, Delivery SME's and Lead Gen / Marketing
