Job Description

Application Developer - South West London

A market leading end user based in South West London is seeking an Application Developer to join their highly specialised, closely-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a global organisation in a unique technical environment, with a focus on a bespoke, stimulating technology.

The successful Application Developer will play a critical role in major British and International projects, with a particular focus on Nokē although it should be noted that prior experience of this technology is very much seen as beneficial rather than essential. You will primarily be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing RESTful APIs, designing and building new objects and features, and transforming requirements into architectural and functional specifications. Additionally, you will be actively involved in testing and profiling code written by yourself and others, providing regular feedback to the wider Nokē and Senior Leadership teams, assisting the first-line support team in resolving on-site issues, and preparing digital audits for installation sites both pre-sale and post-go-live.

To succeed in this role you will have a proven ability to work with at least one major programming language such as Golang, Python, C, or C++, a good understanding of core databases (ideally SQL), strong RESTful API experience, good experience with code repositories and management (GIT preferred), skills in web technologies such as HTTP requests or JSON, knowledge of debugging code and strong self-motivation and communication skills.

In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package this role offers an end-user position (rarer in today's market) with a stimulating workload at the forefront of an exciting technology and a supportive, engaging environment. Some expensed travel (both domestic and international) may be required and you can expect to interface with diverse stakeholders across the organisation. Apply now by following the link to send Josh your CV and Covering Letter.
