Job Description

I am currently looking for a LEAD AWS CLOUD ARCHITECT to undertake a PERMENANT role based in LONDON. A significant salary is on offer, with a healthy bonus and many more benefits/incentives.

The AWS Cloud Architect will act as the Architect & Technical Lead on AWS projects, working in conjunction with an in-house consulting team to build high quality cloud solutions. The ideal individual has deep understanding of full-stack development, common integration approaches and web services (REST, JSON, SFDC integration) as well as the ability to build across multiple UI form factors and frameworks (Javascript Frameworks, Microservices, etc.), AWS cloud offerings and cloud migration.

*PLEASE NOTE: Travel 50% on average, some weeks up to 75%- Typically around the UK.
*Candidates with an Infrastructure background rather than development can be considered

Responsibilities

*Drive the technical design of AWS solutions by working with customers to understand their needs.
*Provide direction to the project team, including determining development and deployment strategies, including code management and continuous integration.
*Act as the technical lead during the architect phase, working in conjunction with a Project Manager to create the development plan.
*Lead a development team to build custom applications including consumer-grade responsive web applications, data intensive solutions and integrations with multiple platforms.
Required Experience
*B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education.
*10+ years of overall experience in software development, with 5+ years of Full Stack development (or equivalent experience).
*Experience coaching and mentoring technical team members.
*Mastery of AWS Cloud Adoption Framework.
*Experience with all aspects of DevOps (source control, continuous integration, deployments,
*Experience working with and delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
*Professional, accountable, enthusiastic, and confident, with a customer focus
*Excellent communication skills with ability to explain ideas very clearly through verbal, graphic, and written communication
*AWS Professional Architect certification is desired.
