Calling all AWS Engineers!

My client is on the hunt for AWS Engineers of all skill levels to join a team of senior AWS Engineers as they look to build cloud environments and products to help grow their business. AWS has played a big part in this company's day to day functions but they're now looking to expand their capabilities in the AWS space.

This role is perfect for AWS engineers of all skill levels. You will be exposed to AWS environments within a DevOps focused team who are all experts within the AWS space. Reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure and AWS as you design, plan, manage, maintain and build AWS environments will give you direct responsibility for your process.

Learning & Development is a core element of a progression structure that is implemented within your first few weeks, with a generous L&D bursary on offer for the tech/certification of your choosing. As mentioned, the Progression structure is laid out within your first few weeks, my client wants to help develop your skills for the betterment of their business and also you.

If you're looking to expand your technical skillset whilst also working hands-on with a team of experienced AWS professionals, look no further!

To be a success in this role you require;

  • AWS SysOps Administrator or equivalent demonstrable practical experience
  • Experience with Terraform and Cloud Formation or equivalents
  • Experience in building and managing AWS environments (including ECS, EC2, VPC, Postgres, ELB, S3 bucket services)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of web application security and distributed applications
  • Experience designing, developing and supporting AWS-based solutions in a production environment
  • Effective and positive contribution as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Based in Central London, with offices in Liverpool, Norwich and Newport you will be required to travel to one of the offices once a month (travel costs covered), this will give you valuable experience working within different environments and teams.

If you think this role is for you, or if you know anyone who could be interested please apply as soon as you can! My client is looking for people to join the team as soon as possible.
