AWS FinOps Consultant - Digital Transformation Consultancy

A world-leading cloud-agnostic technology consultancy, that partners with all 3 major cloud platforms, is looking for a talented FinOps Consultant to help shape and strategise clients' cloud finances as part of the Application Modernisation team. The position plays a crucial role in adopting FinOps solutions in AWS.

You will play a key role in analysing and managing Cloud spend for large-scale enterprise businesses, using data to identify areas of focus, driving change at the engineering level, and advising senior managers on FinOps strategies. As part of a highly skilled team, you will be focused on cost optimization, implementing custom solutions to solve specific business problems such as building bespoke reporting solutions.

The role is London-based with a hybrid working policy with travel to the client site as required, signed off between £80,000 - £85,000 and with a fantastic benefits package including 20% Bonus, life and medical.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cloud/DevOps Engineering experience preferably in AWS.
• Experience in cost optimisation and saving implementations on cloud projects.
• Hands-on experience implementing policy-as-code solutions e.g. Cloud Custodian, AWS Instance Scheduler, Open Policy Agent or equivalent.
• Passionate and comfortable handling FinOps discussions at the technical, business or financial level.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to engage with senior stakeholders and clients.

Desirables:

• AWS Certification.
• Financial Qualification/ FinOps Certification.
