Job Description

Currently we are looking for a cloud engineer to help a move from their current platform on to AWS.

Start: ASAP
Location: Paris
English speaking project
Preferrably a local candidate to keep the rate competitive

Skills needed:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in handling Windows / Linux Infrastructure support
Hands on experience on Windows /Linux OS level issues trouble shooting.
Good experience in handling the scheduled maintenance/patch management activities
Better understanding and experience in following the ITSM process
Experience in handling Mid-range /Enterprise Servers operational issues.
Experienced in Production Server Environment with Wintel/ Linux servers.
Good Knowledge of Monitoring Software like BMC Remedy, SNOW, etc
Experience in OS Hardening, performance and OS tuning.
Working knowledge in Active directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, VMware/Citrix and related components
Adding servers to domain and granting the security/sharing permissions
Knowledge on troubleshooting File share issues.

AWS Public Cloud

Minimum 3 years of experience AWS public cloud environment.
knowledge on Amazon Web Services public cloud and their various services such as, EC2,VPC, S3, SNS, RDS, and R53 & IAM services.
Moderate troubleshooting capability on AWS cloud implementation
Amazon AWS Cloud administration experience using some or all of the following technologies (or similar):
Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2)- Provisioning and restoring the EC2 instances, creating load balancers (internal/external), setting up auto scaling.
AWS VPC services - Familiar with setting up a VPC, creating subnets, configuring security groups, network ACLs.
Amazon Certificate Manager- Raising certificate request through ACM, uploading the certificate in ELB once issued.
Identity and Access Management (IAM) - Creating IAM users, groups, policies,roles
Relational Database Service (RDS) - Provisioning and restoring RDS instances, creating snapshot of the instances, knowledge of option groups, parameter groups
Route 53 (DNS) - Creating hosted zones and record sets
