Remote Cloud Native Engineer - Cloud Security Start-Up

A London-based cloud technology consultancy is looking for a talented Cloud Native Engineer to join their growing Engineering team. This established and exciting start-up works with world-leading consultancies, end-users, and cloud providers to secure the building blocks of the internet and help keep people safe online.

You will play a key role in helping to radically automate and secure the next generation of software systems. Through cutting edge tech and best practice in DevSecOps, you will be working on both internal lab and open-source projects, as well as consulting clients to help them architect and secure Kubernetes clusters using Cloud Native technologies.

It is a Remote role with an office in London, signed off between £60,000 to £95,000 with a 16% bonus and generous benefits package including a training budget, certification, and allocated development time. This represents an exceptional opportunity to work with a specialist consultancy at the forefront of the industry and join them in an exciting phase of growth.

Requirements:

• 3 + years DevOps experience building CI/CD pipelines - Jenkins, Git etc.
• Experience with containerisation - Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker etc.
• Experience with IaC tooling - Terraform.
• Scripting in Python or Golang - Bash and Java are also useful.

• Cloud security awareness and a desire to build hardened systems.

• Excellent communications skills and ability to engage with clients.

Desirables:

• Certification in Cloud Engineering - GCP, AWS or Azure.
• Affinity for securing new technologies e.g. Service mesh, in-toto, Grafeas.
