Role: Commercial Lead - Procurement and Delivery

Contract Length: 3 months initial contract

Location: Home-based

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate to Candidate: £700 - £800 per day

Role: there are multiple roles spanning a range of procurement categories, levels of expenditure and stages in the procurement lifecycle.

Essential requirements:

- MCIP or equivalent, with the ability and drive to operate to the highest professional standards

-Minimum 5 years' experience, including:

- Experience of identifying and managing commercial risk

-Understanding and managing trade-offs between different elements of commercial, delivery, policy and operations, to maximise the delivery of value for money

- Ability to analyse complex and ambiguous data and provide clear recommendations

- Market research and market making

- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, converting issues into opportunities

- Strong core numeracy skills, including experience of working with Open Book and cost-reimbursable contracts

- Collaborative and proactive approach to team working and stakeholder management

- Management and coaching experience

- Strong knowledge of contract law

- Ability to thrive in high pressure, changing and ambiguous environments

Desirable

-Over 5 years' experience

-Knowledge of the PCRs

-Experience of working with complex, international supply chains
