Role: Content Designer

Contract : 6 months initially

Day Rate: £450 - £495

Location: Remote

IR35: Inside

Role requirements

-Help the team come up with the best format to display the content to the user (this might be written, audio, video formats etc)

-Create the content necessary for the solution agreed upon;

-Advocate and work with the legal team to compromise on language that meets the user needs regarding plain language.

-Work together with the service designer to prototype concepts and visualise the proposed solutions, prep prototypes for usability testing

-Iterate on solution design according to usability testing feedback

Co-create with the team the wider implications and long-term impact, recommendations, guides and policy changes

Coordinate updates to mainstream content related to - will require raising Zendesk tickets and working with GDS

Skills & experience required

-Solid writing (and editing) in clear English

-Knowledge of GDS, Whitehall and Zendesk

-Good content strategy thinking - eg around formats

-Prototyping (lo-fi) experience and ability to explore and improve user journeys

-Experience of working with User Research, Interaction and Service designers - preferably in an Agile team
