Contract - Process Improvement HR Operations/ Payroll Specialist - 6 months - Essex

My client are in search of a Process Improvement HR Operations Specialist to join them in their payroll function. Your main role would be to review and update existing HR processes as well as providing/ designing bespoke tailored solutions to drive operational efficiency and mitigate risk.

The role:
* Documenting all HR/Payroll processes, identifying and managing risks for business
continuity planning as well as building proposals to redesign/ optimise systems for
process efficiency and accuracy.
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase the accuracy and speed of the
payroll data and submissions, working closely with Finance and Tax to ensure compliance
* Working with the external Payroll supplier to manage and close issues log to drive
optimum performance
* Designing automated reporting and review options to mitigate risk and increase efficiency
* Specific projects with HR Director in line with Legislative reporting requirements and UK/ Group strategy i.e. automated absence data entry creation of key dashboard data, Gender
Pay reporting, benefits administration and non - UK payroll / tax reviews
Required skills:

* Prior project/ change management experience ideally within Payroll / pensions systems implementation
* Advanced excel / programming skills for process automation/ reporting requirements
* Analytical and strong financial experience
* Strong stakeholder and communication skills
* Motivated self-starter able to map a clear plan and deliver against key deliverables
* Strong track record of achieving results in process improvement and motivated by this
* Strong project management, deadline driven and excellent attention to detail
