Job Description

A Global technology leader in Telecoms is looking for a Cyber Defence Incident Manager to join their Global Cyber Security team to co-ordinate incident response and remediation activities across the globe to minimise the impact of Cyber Risks. An incredible opportunity is on offer for a self-starting and entrepreneurial Cyber Defence Incident Manager with great knowledge of key Telecoms risk areas such as Networking, Active Directory and Privileged Access Management.

You will join a truly Global team of experts in both technical and governance response who set the standard for the market. To be successful in this position you will be extremely comfortable and experienced dealing with both technical and Senior stakeholders to resolve complex and challenging issues, managing the team's response efforts with confidence; whilst keeping an eye out for the trends and challenges of the future to support constant improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve cyber incidents by following industry standard incident handling processes in collaboration with the wider Cyber Security team
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to whom you will provide oral and written reporting/analytics to keep them updated on any current incidents and the response
  • Apply your knowledge of Networking, Active Directory and Privileged Access Management to reduce risk on a continuous basis through operating model, framework and process development
  • Availability for the out of hours call rota to provide 24/7 support

To qualify for the role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Years of cutting edge incident response experience in Cyber Security or a closely related field, ideally relating to Telecoms
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills and comfort providing critical and complex information to Senior individuals who may not have technical understanding
  • Project management skills or experience, including broad attention to detail and superb problem solving.

Salary: Up to £70,000 plus 10% bonus and package

Location: Greater London (remote currently within UK)
