Job Description

Data Analyst required for a globally recognised advisory business to be based in Manchester, working across client sites (public sector) in the North.

This world renowned advisory business are looking for a Data Analyst who is highly skilled in Excel (being able to build Data models from scratch) to be a part of it's newly formed Insight and Analytics team.

This team is building platforms and tools that will transform the social care sector as it's known.

You will work alongside the Directors of the practice who have over 50 years combined industry experience, and 20 years experience within Data in the Social Care space.


Responsibilities:

*Delivering consultancy work on complex social care programmes through data gathering, insight and analysis as well as learning, developing and implementing core project management skills
*Proactively identifying and assessing new data-sets that will add value to our overall insight offering
*Take ownership of, and develop, forecasting models for various parts of the social care system
*Take ownership for the data processes and procedures within the team along with some day-to-day project management tasks for the team and on our social care programmes
*Provide technical support to team with content reviews to ensure data integrity
*Provide excellent client service that exceeds expectations
*Support partners, directors and managers with business development
*Ensure compliance with key systems and processes including timely completion of time-sheets and all mandatory training

Experience Required:

*Experience in analysing large data sets
*Able to present (written and oral) complex data and analysis in a way that is easy to understand and digest
*Able to take the lead and drive forward projects and work streams
*Excellent communication skills and able to manage relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
*Familiarity with SQL/MS Access or similar database management systems, or a willingness to learn
*Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience
