Job Description

Fantastic opportunity to join a leading FTSE 100 organisation as an interim Data Privacy Subject Matter Expert.

This will be on a 6-month initial contract with a day rate of circa £700 p/day, to be based around 30 miles north of London.

*Legally qualified
*GDPR experience essential, further regulatory programme delivery also valuable
*Ability to rapidly pick up an understanding of a programme landscape through involvement in programme meetings
*Experience of successfully creating policies, guidance notes, templates and advice based upon complex legislation, and conflicting requirements
*Proven experience of producing Privacy Notices and associated consent, objection and Ts&Cs content preferred.
*Experience of reviewing, amending and creating commercial contracts
*Experience of providing DP/GDPR training and creation of training and comms materials would be a bonus
*Ability to develop approaches/options for solution delivery
*Show experience of having supported programme delivery by 'thinking business whilst considering the law'
*Used to operating within organisations without highly structured governance and procedural guidelines
*Broad experience of workshop facilitation

*Good communicator
*Able to get along with a cross-section of personalities and interact openly and with confidence
*Self-starter who can develop a brief through discussion gave an objective and boundaries
*Able to demonstrate adapting style and approach to deliver a similar output to peers
*Keep his/her manager and stakeholders updated

*Pragmatism and the ability to modulate advice based upon a balance of conflicting requirements and the practicability of delivery
*When advising, able to balance interpretation of regulations with operational deliverability, whilst noting potential risks and the type and extent of future remediation work.
*Highly organised and structured
*Naturally keep a documented audit trail
*Propose solutions, not just challenges
*Able to demonstrate pragmatism
*Able to prioritise and deliver key requirements
*Can demonstrate operating at pace
