Job Description

A brief description and summary of the engagement:

* The client is about to embark on delivering their 5 year strategy which will transform the operating model
* A key component identified in their Strategy is the development of an Insight & Intelligence function
* This will advance identify our trends, advance our research, share insights externally and enable the client to continually improve

Deliverables for the engagement:

1. Input to and assist in establishing a new Insight & Intelligence function
2. Translating MI into meaningful insight for key initiatives, SLT and Board
3. Enabling the client to prioritise and leverage new Data Warehouse capability
4. Development of new performance dashboards
5. Assessment of macro intelligence to inform demand forecasting
6. Work with key projects as an Insight & Intelligence SME including Performance & Risk Management System development
7. Identify and develop approaches to increase their Insight & Intelligence capabilities
8. Coaching on Insight & Intelligence to develop their internal capability

Skills (including specialist skills) and/or knowledge required:

1. Highly analytical and strong in visual presentation of findings
2. Insight and Intelligence experience and a strong skill set
3. Understanding of data, data warehousing and broader data governance
4. Experience in developing performance measures and dashboards
5. Research experience and the ability to creatively present compelling findings
6. Highly curious in exploring data, MI and insights to identify underlying trends, issues and solutions
7. Excellent stakeholder management with an approach that is understanding, forward focused and progressive
8. Highly flexible and adaptive in working across a range of deliverables
9. Strong coaching skills to enable skills transfer
