DevOps Engineer - FinTech

An award-winning payment technology provider, with a proven track record of delivering instant data-driven payments and bank critical systems to the leading brands in the global banking industry, is looking for an AWS/Azure DevOps Engineer to join their small but experienced team.

You will play a key role in developing an innovative payments engine by leveraging AWS and Azure to help automate their deployment pipeline using the latest technologies and processes within DevOps, data and containerisation to develop high quality, transactional instant payments solutions.

Working in a supportive, tech-driven, agile environment you will be working alongside the tech leadership and have direct contact with the founders to support architectural and design decisions as part of the engineering team, to help you grow and develop your career.

The role is London based with a flexible hybrid working policy and open to remote candidates, signed off between £75,000-85,000 with 20% performance bonus and fantastic benefits package including private healthcare, 10% pension, all inside of a great company culture with brilliant career progression pathways and training.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Cloud/DevOps Engineering in AWS and Azure.
  • Experience designing and deploying CI/CD pipelines.
  • Containerisation tooling experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Comfortable with Linus, Ansible, Jenkins and Terraform.
  • Proficient in scripting in Java, Python (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desirables:

  • AWS Certification.
  • Experience in building high availability/distributed systems using Java, Akka and Spring
  • Experience in cloud network security.
