Job Description

DevOps Manager - Hampshire - 3 Months Initial - ASAP Start!

The DevOps manager is a lead role, and will be challenged to implement innovative and cost-effective solutions that utilize state of the art technology to resolve business problems. Reporting to the SW IT Director, the duties and responsibilities of the DevOps Manager include:

1.Support the strategy for the DevOps function, leading strategic initiatives and embedding a culture of continuous improvement through the team.
2.Responsible for maintaining the platform roadmap(s) supporting future direction for SW Business Systems in conjunction with the IT Director.
3.Develop integration of existing and new systems and services into the CRM Online architecture.
4.Manage deployment and provisioning activities in line with the relevant change and release management processes.
5.Manage complex changes to Development partner(s) that provide the 2nd and 3rd line support for SW Business Systems.
6.Maintain an up-to-date development related issues list for VOLTi3.
7.Providing input and expertise as appropriate for other solutions within Capita Workplace services division.
8.Participate in the successful delivery of any relevant SW IT projects.
9.The management of the members of the VOLTi3 development team including associated mentoring.

*Comply with all legal and statutory obligations applicable to role.
*Ensure that any systems and procedures introduced by the Company, including those delivered under Enterprise, are effectively implemented and adhered to.

Any other duties
*Participate in projects and working parties and to carry out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit for the purpose of personal development, or as may be responsibly required by the Company.

*Qualified to Degree Level or holds a professional IT qualification.
*Minimum of two years software development lead / manager (or related) experience.
*Experience working in Agile development environments.
*Data Analytics/MI exposure.
*Experience with release pipelines and relevant products.
*Experience managing stakeholders and developing relationships.
*Strong understanding of Information Technology and Applications, including a minimum 4 years' experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
*Combines technical competence with business and commercial awareness and first-class communications skills.
*Strong development skills.
