DevSecOps Engineer

Salary - £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Location - Remote

A FinTech scale up are in search of a DevSecOps / Cloud Security Engineer to help build out their cyber security capability. The organization are making a huge push to implement their own in-house DevSecOps model, enabling them to design and develop their own with security and privacy built in by design.

Within this role you will innovate and innovate their security solutions and platforms to protect their highly valuable data. Working with various stakeholders you will ensure end to end protection for all security development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Experience designing or deploying security solutions within major public cloud environments.
• Practical experience in creating and security CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate, architect, implement and support security focused tools and services.
• Perform hands-on security threat modelling, risk assessment and vulnerability remediation.
• Work closely with Development teams to ensure secure software development life-cycle.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Cloud Security engineer using DevOps techniques, or a DevOps engineer using Security techniques.
• Knowledge and experience deploying security platorms or tools within public cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency in coding/scripting/development - Shell/BASH, React, NodeJs or others.
• Experience using automation within DevSecOps environment.
