Job Description

Lawrence Harvey have recently partnered with an innovative Remote Sensing Organization based out of California and Colorado. Together we are searching for Embedded Software Engineering talent to join them on a permanent basis.

This company have developed a first of its kind sensing technology that allows customers from a variety of industries to understand a specific geographical location like never before. As an organization, not only are they backed by some of the biggest players in the VC world, they also have a senior leadership team consisting of true industry experts, ranging from Ex Google, Veterans in the Spacecraft industry and even Ex Nasa leaders.

In this position, you will be working alongside a number of highly talented engineers, you will have a number of responsibilities, ranging from developing low level drivers, working with small scale microcontrollers and working with simple circuit diagrams and Electrical Schematics.

The ideal person will have a background similar to the below:

  • A few years of industry experience working in an Embedded Engineering role (the more experience the better).
  • Proven programming experience in C & C++.
  • A background in Spacecraft Design, Spaceflight Systems or Satellites (or anything space related!)
  • A solid understanding of low-level hardware concepts (GIPO access, Interrupts or DMA).
