Financial Controller: Central London - Hybrid working option

Our client, a forward-thinking technology company going through an exciting transition that includes rebranding, digital transformation, and significant investment into growing its team, is looking for a Financial Controller to join their growing team. As the Financial Controller, you will work with a team that supports the digital landscape of a diverse portfolio of companies in a hybrid environment.

Your areas of responsibility as the Financial Controller will include, financial accounting, statutory reporting, financial planning, financial analysis, and financial performance management. You as the Financial Controller will need to have proven experience with UK accounting, tax law, and regulations, accompanied by UK GAAP knowledge.

As the Financial Controller, you will be working closely with the CIO of the company and be responsible for a massive portfolio of £5m. As the Financial Controller, you will have the support of the Finance team, but this is a stand-alone position, and you would need to be comfortable with that. If you are a Financial Controller who loves technology and the expansion thereof this would be a great opportunity to work with modern finance tech.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years experience in a Finance role.
• Recognised accountancy qualification
• UK accounting, Tax law, and regulations experience.
• UK GAAP experience.
• Advanced excel proficiency.
• Desirable: PowerBI, Microsoft Dynamics, AWS Quicksight.
