Job Description

My team and I are working for a key client as their successful practice continues to grow. We are looking for a Forecasting Consultant to join their team in the pharmaceutical industry.
This role will be embedded in client-site to lead and manage projects on the development, delivery, and management of forecasting. This role will allow you to lead with indirect oversights of analyst and communication with the client. The main tasks will be to analyze secondary data and market research, both qualitative and quantitative, to develop key industry trends and insights. The ideal candidate will be able to lead these studies and provide support to the client's deliverables. You should have experience with Market and Epidemiology Assessment, Pipeline Analysis and Market Research, Forecasting Inline and Pipeline products with senior support.
This role will be responsible to for working independently to create client presentations, attending client meetings and present finding in said meetings. This will include creating detailed documents and specifications, including business process documentation, SOPs, and client data scorecards.

Understanding of the fundamental process of pharmaceutical commercial business process. Including their interaction, and the impact of external /internal influences on decision making, growth and decline.
Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
Knowledge of professional/trade associations, key people and companies.
Strong experience in MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint and working with Excel VBA, SAS, SQL.
A plus if you have experience with @Risk, Crystal Ball, Flexicast, Spotfire, and SPSS
Be able to design and carry out S&ME patient studies: Source of Business, P&C, Patient Flow, Market sizing and Oncology & Data marts.
Undergraduate or Master's degree in life sciences/Marketing MBA with 2-6 years of experience in forecasting for the pharmaceutical industry.
Avid interest in healthcare analytics and data; understanding of sales & marketing business principles
Excellent communication, and team-working skills
Exceptional business acumen and understanding of sales & marketing
Willingness to relocate for new clients and/or travel up to 80%
