Rate - £400-£425 p/day
This role will manage the day to day activities of the Solution Workstream under the GDPR Design Programme. The role involves the coordination of multiple stakeholders across the company to identify and collate GDPR compliance gaps across the full enterprise. The role will also manage the prioritisation and high-level definition of the specific remediation activities required to resolve the identified GDPR compliance gaps.
The detailed design and delivery of the remediation activities are not within the scope of this role
The role will be responsible for the documentation and maintains of all project artefacts including the project plan, RAIDD log and regular progress reporting.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
*Responsible for the real-time picture of GDPR Impact
*Accountable for the prioritisation of all identified GDPR compliance gaps.
*Accountable for the production of the high-level solution definition for prioritising work packages.
*Deliver projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outputs to support the achievement of strategic business objectives.
*Take ownership of key strategic projects and work streams; from scoping to delivery and including cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management, ensuring quality, cost and timescales are prioritised as appropriate
*Plan for and manage project risks, issues and dependencies to maximise the likelihood of project success, escalating upwards where necessary
*Partner with the operational business to understand current processes and to document and prioritise requirements for changes and additions
*Work with the operational business on where step changes can be introduced and included in the project.
*Management of required Governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, financial reporting and risk and issue management
*Support adherence to Operational Acceptance processes, with smooth project transition to Service Delivery
*Provide a structured approach to solving business problems using lean project management principles or similar approaches in order to develop more effective and efficient ways of working
*Undertake and support scenario planning as required
*Effective stakeholder management and contracting to ensure projects add value and are aligned to stakeholder expectations
*Where required support the management and delivery of business change arising from the project and transition of project outputs into service delivery via appropriate stakeholder engagement and communications
*Updating senior managers/board of when projects don't go according to plan, specifying what has gone wrong and what plan is in place to resolve the problem
*Management of resources that are required for specific projects, making sure that the right people are doing the right job at the right time, have the necessary training and skills to fulfil their role in the project and provide support, advice and guidance to them as necessary
*Regularly review lessons learnt from projects, act on these where appropriate and share these with others to support continuous improvement
*The point of contact of any queries/ideas/problems that arise from the project
*Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
*Sound knowledge of GDPR and previous experience of leading GDPR Projects.
*Previous experience of fast-paced complex project coordination.
*Previous experience of working in a Project Management role with a track record of successful delivery
*Proven experience in stakeholder management at all levels
*Methodical detailed approach to work
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base
*Ability to manage significant risks and issues
*Negotiation and adaptability
*Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
*Relevant qualification and/or training in a recognised appropriate Project Management methodology
*Stakeholder Management expertise, specifically the ability to confidently advise and influence senior stakeholders
*Commercially astute with an ability to understand the business function that this role supports
