Cloud Engineering - Google Cloud Practice Lead - Big4

A Big4 consultancy is looking for an experienced GCP Practice Lead to take on the ownership of the management, sales and engagements, whilst driving the technical capabilities of the team. You will lead client engagements to advise them on how to leverage and reimagine the capabilities of Google Cloud, playing a crucial role in the growth of a leading Cloud Engineering practice with room to develop your career and become a leader in the industry.

You will define the go-to-market strategy, roadmaps and team culture to ensure successful delivery of key engagements, leading an expert team of technical, strategic and industry consultants. You will utilise market-leading and emerging technology helping international organisations transform their core business capabilities. Your goal will be to enable them and accelerate business and IT transformation, delivering continuous improvement and innovation, from initial design right through to implementation and optimisation.

This is a London based role with a hybrid working policy, offering a salary between £110,000 - £130,000, a performance bonus and a fantastic benefits package, all inside of a great company culture with brilliant career progression pathways.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years GCP Engineering and Architectural solutioning experience.
  • Minimum 5 years On-prem and Cloud Infrastructure development experience.
  • Experience in automation and containerisation tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Extensive experience with DevOps and Big Data tools and frameworks.
  • Prior success delivering with sales/ supporting pre-sales bids.
  • Ability to lead, build and manage high-performing engineering and product development teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate Client and Key Stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desirables:

  • Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud.
  • GCP Certification
