Head of Data Architecture (Finance) 6M FTC

Our client is an exciting, well established Fintech based in London - offering niche specialty lines SME bank targeting under-served segments.

The Head of Data Platform & Architecture is responsible for the development and on boarding of systems in accordance to the Bank's data architecture principles. The team currently exists of an ETL Developer, BI Analyst a Data Governance Analyst.

Head of Data Architecture responsibilities 6M FTC:

• Lead the data architectural elements of how the Bank collects, structures and uses our data across the organisation;
• Conceive and design the data structures and integrations that enable us to rapidly, efficiently and effectively deliver on the Bank's objectives;
• Develops database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications;
• Maintain data warehouse performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems relative to the data warehouse; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; completing maintenance; answering user questions;

Head of Data Architecture experience 6M FTC:

• Background in Financial Services
• Data architecture strategy development and execution
• Data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical)
• Knowledge and active use of industry frameworks and tools (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, Archimate)
• SQL, Snowflake, Matillion
