Head of Cloud and Application Security

Offering an amazing opportunity for a Head of Cloud and Application Security to grow the Product Security capability for a leading FinTech business. Within the position you will work closely with the CISO and manage your team of Engineers and Architects.

You will innovate and be able to solve security challenges at scale. They have seen remarkable growth in their security posture in the last few years, bringing in the best talent and utilizing all of the latest trends in cyber industry. The role is perfectly suited for a hands-on leader interested in building something new and innovating this thriving market!

What will you do?

• Contribute to the overall global enterprise cloud architecture and lead the security vision around public cloud PaaS/IaaS and cloud-based applications.
• Architect and deliver foundational and strategic security engineering solutions and programs to address cloud implementations (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Develop and present security product roadmaps, reference architectures and implementation plans.
• Develop and drive approaches to identify and prevent security vulnerabilities earlier in the software development process in an automated scalable manner and work with engineering to implement these approaches.

What are we looking for?

• Interested in building creative solutions to challenging security problems.
• Experience building new teams and developing strategic roadmaps.
• Scripting and automation proficiency with languages such as JS.
• DevOps tools experience (Github, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.)
• You are a great communicator who can explain detailed security issues and risks to a broad, non-technical audience.
