Job Description

HR Systems Manager required for an 18 month FTC to start remotely with on site travel to Suffolk when possible.

Your role will be to work closely with HR, IT, and the HR systems providers to upgrade their existing HR and Payroll system (Resourcelink) to their new cloud based HRIS system (Zellis HCM). Initial work will include leading the design, build and migration to a new Zellis HCM cloud solution to manage every stage of the employee life cycle, and managing the client relationship with the vendor. The HR SIM will work closely with HR colleagues to streamline and automate key transactional processes, developing automated workflows to simplify HR processes and increase use of employee self-service.

Qualifications, knowledge and experience


  • Graduate degree or equivalent demonstrable experience in a directly relevant role
  • Extensive experience of working with HR systems within a large organisation or public body
  • Experience of leading systems implementations projects
  • Experience of vendor management in a SaaS environment, including experience of contractual management, setting of Service Level Agreements, cost modelling and associate activities
  • Experience of liaising with third party suppliers and consultants
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases, their design and maintenance, database analysis and diagnostic skills
  • First-hand experience of leading and implementing, configuring and supporting HR Information Systems and their introduction/development
  • Advanced excel and data manipulation skills
  • Experience in drafting documentation and delivering training in support of new systems developments


  • Knowledge of relevant Human Resources systems and tools including payroll, job evaluation and on-line recruitment
  • Experience of working with hosted solution
