Job Description

Technical Analyst required to be part of the Technical workstream within a wider transformation project, responsible for Training and ultimate business readiness as part of a HR Document Management System project.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with the relevant business areas and SME's to understand, define and document overall business objectives.
  • Research and/or analyse appropriate options that meet the business requirements.
  • Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of documentation and glossaries
  • Support with any of the SDLC testing phases to provide clarification and respond to inquiries within a given timeframe
  • Provide weekly progress reports for each site in progress
  • Responsible for lessons learnt and sharing centrally with other deployment teams
  • Ensure tasks are tested thoroughly and in line with the highest possible standards of quality
  • Throughout the deployment, this role will support the upskilling of the teams to transition into future state

Experience required

  • 5+ years' experience as a Technical Analyst / Business Analysis.
  • Knowledge of appropriate techniques (e.g. context diagrams, capability models, operating models) to ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment.
  • Ability to gather and critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Strong knowledge of business change best practice
  • Capability to build, document and gain approval of functional and non-functional requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions/mapping, use cases, task and workflow analysis etc
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
