I am working with a global communications group to find them an Information Security Officer to join them in London ASAP on a contract basis.
The role overseas all IS policy/procedure this specific project. The project is a complete UX revamp and alignment of roughly 230 websites/apps across 170 markets consolidated onto one platform. It's a global effort but very much headed up by London.
The role of an Information Security Officer is to create, develop and maintain global policy framework and serve as the owner of all IS security processes across our client engagements.
In this vital role you will be given full backing and investment from the executive leadership to set IS policy and IT/Cyber Security concepts.
*Maintenance of all ISMS Policies, Procedures and relevant standards and supporting documentation as directed.
*Coordinate the production of all relevant reports and statistical analysis required for ISMS Management Review
*Create, maintain and update content of ISMS Action Logs (e.g. Security Incident Log, Security CA/PA Log, Documentation Reviews)
*Perform information security reviews of the core business and group businesses (international)
*Proactively identify information security deficiencies or opportunities for improvement and facilitate development of pragmatic solutions
*Provide escalation path for information security issues, incidents and enquiries
*Manage the training, induction and awareness program for employees
*Lead on Information Security Assessments for clients and third parties
*Provide advisory and consulting support to help the firm improve its security posture and adhere to security policies, expected controls & regulatory requirements
The IS Security Focal is an individual who is responsible for performing IS Security Investigations, maintaining IS Security systems, maintaining lab equipment, and documenting and reporting on security events, incidents, and investigations. The IS Security Focal uses best practices and generally acceptable techniques to investigate issues in a forensically sound and repeatable manner. The IS Security Focal must work closely with other departments (legal, HR, Internal Audit, physical security) and with other departments in IS.
*The IS Security Focal is the single point of contact for Nissan.
*The IS Security Focal ensures all IS Security incidents are reported to Nissan within the specified time frame.
*The IS Security Focal ensures all data is preserved during an incident.
*The IS Security Focal ensures all security countermeasures are functional and have established policies, procedures, and work instructions.
*The IS Security Focal is proficient in enterprise forensic tools (e.g., EnCase or FTK).
*The IS Security Focal audits the handling of security events to ensure policies and procedures are properly followed.
*The IS Security Focal coordinates annual and ad-hoc risk assessments.
*The IS Security Focal coordinates vulnerability scanning and ensures all risks or threats are promptly remediated.
The ideal candidate will have:
*A solid background in designing and providing Information Security solutions to large corporate businesses.
*Recognised IS qualifications (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001)
*Strong organisational and planning skills, and experience designing and implementing operational processes.
*Excellent project management, written and oral communications skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of consitituencies.
