Job Description

Role: Infrastructure Project Manager

Day Rate: £400-500 per day
Location: Cambridge
Contract Length: 3 months initially

They deliver projects in Networks, Storage, Applications, Security and across the Platform space and you'll need to be extremely experienced and confident to hit the ground running. You also need to be adapted at working in an ever-changing shifting environment and really know your stuff technically so you can build and challenge technical plans to identify and drive out delivery risk.
Develop Detailed Project Plans:

Develop detailed project plans including durations for key activity, critical path, resource assignments and key milestones for:
-Windows XP Eradication
-Windows 10 Evergreen
-Laptop Standardisation
-EUC Refresh of ~3,000 end points

Manage Successful Completion of Deliverables:

Identify and get agreement from all key stakeholders on the critical deliverables for each project. These include but are not limited to:
-Business Case
-High Level Service Design
-Low Level Service Design
-Service Acceptance Certificate
-Acceptance Planning
-Implementation Planning
-Third Party Statement of Work(s)
-Service Design & Transition Plan
-Business Change and Communication Plan
-Post Implementation Review
-Project Closure Report

Manage Issues, Risks & Dependencies:

Maintain a central register of all risks, issues and dependencies
Regularly review and update all risks and develop mitigation plans
Maintain all internal and external dependencies for assigned projects and ensure all parties and stakeholders are aware of these dependencies and understand their obligations / requirements in relation to these
Maintain and monitor a register for all issues for assigned projects and work actively to mitigate / escalate them
Manage Finances:

Follow financial management processes to maintain an accurate record of project finances
Maintain an accurate forecast of project finances across the spend categories and report any variances / changes to the programme.

Ensure all actuals are accurately recorded against the project and provide justification for project spend as and when required
