Job Description

Java Lead to build their own team for a major consulting partner in London. This kind of job doesn't come around very often. A dominant consulting partner is looking for a Java Lead to build their own Java team from scratch.

My client has been working on several Java projects in London remotely but have reached the decision to build a local team. There is funding in place for immediate Java developer hires once this position is secured.

Java Technical Lead

My client have to work on the cutting edge of development, we are seeking a Java or Python expert to help deliver incredibly challenging technical pieces of work.

The need to stay cutting edge is so great that my client request that you have several 'innovation' days in the year where you and your team work on new ideas.

You should be able to evidence ability to build a team.

Your team will be working on defence projects. I can't say what any of them are on this advert however they're really cool. Significantly better than your run of the mill food app.

There will be brilliant progression opportunities in the role. It's working for a well known and dominant player in the sector so new projects will be coming into your team as soon as it has the capacity to take them on from other teams in the business.

Candidates need to be UK nationals and will require immediate SC and future DV clearance so must be UK nationals.

Salary is up to £70,000 plus benefits.
