Job Description

Microsoft Business Development Executive with Remote Working

A rapidly growing niche consultancy with offices in London and The Midlands is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their Microsoft focussed Practice, ideally at a 'Second Jobber' level or similar. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly specialised organisation during a critical growth period, with good opportunities to work remotely as part of a truly Agile business.

To succeed in this role you will have already proven your ability to work in a Microsoft-centric environment, with experience and a proven understanding of Office 365, Sharepoint, and/or Power BI especially valued. You will have demonstrable Business Development skills and will have contributed in your previous role(s) to the sales and pre-sales processes (although not necessarily as a Sales Consultant). In addition to strong IT sales and pipeline management and a good understanding of Microsoft technologies you will experience of writing project sales proposals, a strong understanding of CRM sales management systems, and a clean driving license with access to a vehicle.

The successful Office 365 Business Development Executive will play a key role in the sales and pre-sales processes of the consultancy, working with solution consultants to qualify and close sales opportunities in both existing accounts and new clients. You will contribute to introductory presentations, organise sales meetings with relevant stakeholders, create sales proposals with the support of Solution Consultants, and work alongside clients to understand and meet their needs.

You will be based on or near the M1 corridor and be willing and able to travel to the London and Midlands offices as necessary. Officially designated as a home-worker you will be able to expense all travel, and will typically spend 2-3 days per week working remotely when not on client site. In addition to a basic salary of up to £40,000 with up to £20,000 OTE paid quarterly this role offers excellent career development opportunities within an immediately engaging and profitable environment.
