Lawrence Harvey has been retained by an exciting and rapidly growing Pittsburgh, PA based company; focused on developing and producing advanced robotics equipment made for building and servicing a variety of high-profile aerospace clients.
One of their founders and current board members is one of the most well-known and respected roboticists in the industry who previously helped found Uber ATG. As well as boasting a world class team, this company was spun out of CMU robotics institute and still have regular collaborations with the university, as well as team members coming from UPenn’s GRASP Labs.
We are looking for a Motion Planning Engineer with a strong technical background, who enjoys remaining highly technical in building robust robotic solutions. This will be a primarily C/C++ based software role that will be involved in various parts of the robotics platform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background similar to this:
- Ideally 5+ years of experience with a focus in Motion Planning.
- Experienced working with Mobile Robotics with an understanding of Kinematics.
- C++ coding experience is key.
- Strong mathematics background is required.
