Role: Oracle DBA - Active SC

Contract Length: 6 months + extension

Day Rate: £525 - £550

IR35: Inside

Location : Remote / Newcastle ( 1 day per week on site)

SC Clearance: *Active SC is mandatory*

About the role:
Expertise in Oracle database management, performance tuning and optimisation

Expertise in provisioning Oracle databases on Linux platforms including database upgrade, regular patching and maintenance

Technical skills:
* Expertise in the following Oracle technology stack:
o Database 12c and 19c
o Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Grid Infrastructure 12c and 19c
o Data Guard in ASYNC and SYNC modes
o GoldenGate replication
* Excellent Linux and shell scripting skills
* Excellent understanding of Agile deliveries, collaborative tooling and techniques including Jira and Kanban
* Good understanding of DevOps practices, continuous delivery tooling and automation using Ansible, TerraForm and Git
* Good understanding of designing and implementing databases in Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure using IaaS or PaaS
* Oracle Certified Professional
* SC Clearance required
