Principal DevOps Engineer - Digital Transformation Consultancy

A world-leading cloud-agnostic technology consultancy, that partners with all 3 major cloud platforms, is looking for a talented Principal DevOps Engineer to help lead its Application Modernisation team and grow its footprint in the UK market. The position plays a crucial role in designing and building highly innovative infrastructure and applications in AWS.

You will play a key role in driving end-to-end DevOps technology solutions within their AWS pillar. As part of a highly skilled team, you will help clients strategise and road map architecture and engineering projects, advising on best practices, whilst leading and mentoring a team on delivery and how best to utilise cutting-edge cloud technology and methodology.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build a team and work for an exciting cloud-agnostic consultancy at the forefront of the industry, with brilliant career progression pathways, training, and certification.

The role is London-based with a hybrid working policy with travel to the client site as required, signed off between £100,000 - £120,000 and with a fantastic benefits package including a 20% Bonus, life and medical.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of DevOps Engineering experience in AWS Cloud.
  • Extensive experience in one or more of the following methodologies: Lean, Agile, Scrum and Kanban.
  • End-to-end project delivery experience including pre-sales strategy and road mapping.
  • Leadership, team building and mentoring experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to engage with senior stakeholders and clients.

Desirables:

  • AWS certification.
  • Kubernetes Certification.
