Principal Information Security Consultant
I'm currently working with a leading provider of professional services that are looking to bring in a Principal Information Security Consultant with a background of practical ISO27001 auditing and ideally experience and understanding of Smart Energy Code (SEC).

You will be helping clients make the most of a world increasingly driven by data and technology. Having experienced significant growth in recent years, winning new contracts and seeing roles on existing ones extended now they are looking to significantly bolster and utilise their consulting capabilities. As Principal Information Security Consultant you will be taking the helm of a small to medium sized team of consultants in order continue their growth within an already exciting market.

Key Responsibilities:

* Practical knowledge of ISO27001 with a specific direction towards the auditing process within that.

* Managing stakeholders from all areas of the business and communicating clearly and concisely with both technical & non-technical people.

* Monitoring all security incidents and vulnerabilities reported by Smart Energy Code (SEC) Parties or the DCC and providing an expert assessment of the materiality of the security incident or vulnerability (Desirable not essential).

Key Requirements:

* Technical knowledge of information security compliance frameworks such as ISO27001 from both an internal and external audit standpoint.

* Ability to conduct risk assessments and treatments using a hybrid IS1/IS2 and ISO 27005 requirements ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer qualification is essential

* Strong management and leadership skills to take on a team of two.

* Experience within Smart Energy Code (SEC) and smart metering (Desirable not essential).

Location: London (Hybrid/2-3 days)
Salary: £60-76k

Note: Knowledge and understanding of SEC (Smart Energy Code) may be flexible.
