Excellent opportunity to join a leading Multinational Consultancy firm in the Privacy space as an Associate Privacy & Data Protection Consultant based in the heart of London.

Salary - Circa £40-65k + benefits dependent on experience

The consultancy has an excellent reputation working with a strong calibre of top 5 clients across a span of industries. With 15+ offices worldwide from San Francisco to Hong Kong and plans for further global expansion, they truly are a global firm with their Privacy consulting centred in the Heart of London & developments into Silicon Valley.

They have a dedicated focus on Data Privacy consulting that differentiates them from traditional 'top 4' consultancies along with a flatter organisation structure. You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the industries leading privacy professionals, advising top 5 clients across a wealth of industries.

What is also interesting is the nature of the consulting work... The firm is backed by a top 10 Technology Giant allowing the consultants to work on a mix of privacy contexts around the 'grey zone' privacy matters of artificial intelligence, IoT (Internet of Things), connected vehicle technology, blockchain etc. They do not view Privacy as just GDPR.

This is not just on a national context but you will be working across international jurisdictions throughout EMEA, APAC, AMER etc.

Primary Duties of Associate

*Provide SME advice to a range of clients on complex compliance and risk management challenges relating to data privacy and information risk.
*Analyse legal or regulatory requirements
*Review and analyse policies, procedures, and governance artefacts.
*Drafting and revising client deliverables-including reports, correspondence, presentations, and written tools such as policies and templates.
*Conduct onsite privacy assessments which include reviewing all aspects of an information security program (policies, procedures, administrative and technical controls, security tools and software)
*Participate in client meetings, such as interviews or presentations, which often include senior executives or directors of the client.
*Monitor and prepare reports on global regulatory developments.


*At least 3 years of experience relating to data privacy and information risk matters.
*Experience performing information security compliance reviews and/or audits
*Ability to handle complex information, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks.
*Ability to communicate effectively with clients and within all levels of the organization.
*Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships and build teams.


*Bachelor's degree or Legal Background (LLB or LLM)
*Privacy or information security designation or certifications are beneficial but not essential (CIPP, CIPM, CISSP. CISM, etc.)
