Job Description

A fantastic contract opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Entertainment companies based in London.

Day rate - £500-550 p/day
Location - London
Sector - Entertainment
Length - 6 months initial

As part of the Information Security Team, you will work with the business to support and assure data protection requirements in compliance with GDPR regulations and guidelines through the company GDPR project.

You will be a major part of the current GDPR compliance program and is required to be an SME in the topic, however, you will be expected to possess a very pragmatic view of the regulation when it comes to implementation.

Experience required:

*Main point of contact for all issues that relate to the protection of personal data
*Working in close collaboration with IT security team to ensure all systems meet security needs
*Setting and maintaining the Privacy & Data Protection Standards
*Providing policy advice and guidance as well as necessary training to all areas of the business in relation to data privacy
*Work in conjunction with senior representatives in the business to work through and provide practical solutions to data protection issues that affect them
*Drafting complex documentation such as data transfer agreements, privacy impact assessments and data processing agreements
*Reviewing and advising on DPA clauses in customer terms and supplier contracts
*Interpreting the GDPR regulation to support compliance in complex organisations
*Demonstrable experience in creating and implementing a privacy governance frameworks (including Data protection policy, DPIA framework, subject access rights policy etc.)
*Undertaking privacy reviews for new projects (IT and business)
*Demonstrable experience in data discovery and determine legal basis for handling data
*Develop and build a company-wide retention schedule
*Demonstrable working to a strict programme, reporting on deliverables, and programme risks and issues

Preferences:

*Legal background and prior experience working across GDPR implementation as a SME
