Job Description

Location: NJ/NYC
Title: Senior Regulatory Project Manager
Duration: 6 Months (with 6 month extension)
Rate: Paid DAILY, negotiable
Interview and Onboarding: All remote

The role:

  • You will support the development and execution of the firm's Regulatory Compliance Program, working with stakeholders across the organization in ensuring that the firm is compliant with PFMI's and other regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain regular dialogue with key Senior Executives to determine the firm's strategy and progress in-meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the regulatory analyses for PFMI's and drive key deliverables across the firm.
  • Develop a daily business process and system for calculating and reporting the firm's key metrics, used by various stakeholders for continuous monitoring against the principles.
  • Present at the Oversight Committee to provide supervisory updates.
  • Develop subject-matter expertise in foreign exchange clearing and settlement, payment systems oversight and supervision, and financial market infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management, with a key focus on Regulatory engagements; ideally the implementation of PFMI's or alternatively, Dodd-Frank/CCAR/Volckar.
  • Have a strong understanding of the foreign exchange market.
  • Have strong client-facing and internal communications skills.
  • Have years' experience in project plan development including activity planning, sequencing and resource management and BAU model plus handover.
  • Oversee the creation and approval of core project documentation including business requirements, functional requirements, technical specifications, user acceptance testing.
  • Risk and issue identification, communication and resolution
