Job Description
Contract opportunity: Quality Manager - London - 6 months - outside IR35 - £550-600 per day - SC clearance
Essential skills:
- Proven experience in proofreading legal procurement documentation
- Proven experience in Information Quality Assurance
- Experience within central government IT procurement processes
- PCR2015, NEC, OJEU background
- Able to understand the linkages and interdependencies between products
- Minimum 5 years working on large government IT Programmes
- Broad understanding of IT networking/Infrastructure
- Understanding of government procurement procedures
- Commercially and legally astute
- Experience working in Quality Assurance type roles
- Working knowledge of PPM Processes
- Demonstrate that they meet the Product description
- Have had the right level of Assurance throughout their development
- Language and style are correct and consistent
- Legal risk of content is acceptable
- Are consistent individually and also in aggregate with other associated Products
Develop and agree a Quality Management approach for the Programme with the Leadership Team that includes:-
- Definition of Quality Criteria for Programme outputs
- Monitoring and evaluating compliance of Programme outputs with Quality Criteria
- Approach for Assurance and Compliance e.g. Legal and Commercial
- Monitoring and evaluating internal production processes and delivery methodology
- Reporting on Quality monthly at Leadership team including:-
- RAG status report on Quality Status of Programme outputs
- Specific Quality metrics
- Recommendations to continually improve Quality across Programme
- Use strong attention to detail to proofread legal procurement documents
- Quality assure documentation is up to agreed approval levels
- Use commercial procurement experience to understand and correct any issues within contract documentation
- Understand the reasoning behind descriptive documentation and the importance of correct reporting within IT central government procurement processes
