Lawrence Harvey has been retained by an exciting and rapidly growing Pittsburgh, PA based company; focused on developing and producing advanced robotics equipment made for building and servicing a variety of high-profile aerospace clients.

One of their founders and current board members is one of the most well-known and respected roboticists in the industry who previously helped found Uber ATG. As well as boasting a world class team, this company was spun out of CMU robotics institute and still have regular collaborations with the university, as well as team members coming from UPenn’s GRASP Labs.

We are looking for a Robotics Lead with a focus in Systems Integration and Testing, who can be hands on in Pittsburgh. Due to the nature of their government projects, all candidates would be required to be US Citizens.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background similar to this:

• Ideally 10+ years of experience with a Systems Integration and Testing background in Robotics.
• Software driven with C/C++ experience being key; to troubleshoot and test code.
• Exposure to hardware/sensors testing.
• Able to work cross functionally with different tech teams driving the identification, testing, diagnosing, and resolution of problems.
• Commitment to safety and root cause issue identification and resolution.
• Ideally having experience managing a small team
