Senior Cloud Architect - Google Cloud Premier Partner

A specialist technology consultancy and a leader in Google Cloud are looking for a talented Cloud Architect to join their growing Application Modernisation team working with some of the biggest brands in the UK. The position plays a crucial role in the design and build of highly innovative, resilient, and scalable GCP and Multi-Cloud Infrastructure at the forefront of Google Cloud Technology.

The successful applicant will be responsible for helping to lead and advise on the development of innovative cloud solutions, guiding their most valuable clients on best practices, strategies, and roadmaps in GCP. As part of a highly skilled team, you will design, build, and maintain large e-commerce environments and projects across Retail, Telecoms, and Hospitality.

The role is remote/London-based role with travel to client site once safe to do so and signed off between £90,000 - £120,000 (dependant on experience and seniority) with a fantastic benefits package

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Cloud Architecture expertise across either GCP, AWS, or AZURE.
• Knowledge of building CI/CD and with multiple containerisation and DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.
• Leadership and mentorship skills to upskill junior members of the team across technical, strategy, and delivery.
• Track record of pre-sales success, ability to position the business benefits of cloud solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with clients, senior stakeholders, and external teams.

Desirables:

• Google Cloud Platform Certification.
• Consultancy background within Cloud.
• University educated achieving 2:1 in STEM degree
