Role: Java Developer
Length: 12 months - with a view to extend
Location: Hybrid - 2 days a week in London/Manchester
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Pay Rate: £650 - £725 per day

One of my UK public sector clients are currently looking for a Java Developer. They are recruiting for a Java Developer to join them on a hybrid basis working out of their office based in London/Manchester 2 days per week. The initial contract runs on for a 12-month engagement - this does have a view to extend beyond this date.

They are interested in Java Developers with experience of working in an Agile environment amongst multi-disciplinary teams. Past experience of working within the public sector would be ideal, although this is not essential.

Requirements:

• Strong experience as a Java Developer
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD)
• Experience with large microservice infrastructures
• Experience in pair-programming
