My client's Consumer and Market Insights team is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand Research on a temporary basis who will be an exceptional addition to our Consumer and Market Insights team. As a Senior Manager, Brand Research at Hulu, you will be focused on designing research, interpreting data, and creating stunning PowerPoint reports to support the company's Brand Marketing team. The right person for this role is passionate about building a powerful consumer driven brand using insights from qualitative and quantitative research to guide strategy.
Work closely with the Brand Marketing team to develop the brand strategy (e.g. identity, positioning, messaging, target consumer profiling, barriers) and identify market opportunities
Much of Hulu's primary research is conducted in-house. Candidates must be very comfortable with questionnaire development, survey programming, analyzing raw data, and creating PowerPoint reports from scratch.
Candidates must also be experienced managing focus group vendors, developing screeners and discussion guides
Write RFPs, review proposals, and coordinate research projects with external partners where necessary
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to tell a holistic story
10+ years of custom brand research experience, preferably at a market research supplier focused on the Entertainment vertical
BA/BS in social sciences, marketing science, research, or related field. Must have a strong academic record and analytical background.
Graduate degree desired.
Experience executing market positioning, segmentation, conjoint analysis, interviews, focus groups
Understanding of a variety of market research methodologies and their applications
Comfortable working with large quantitative and qualitative datasets
Passionate about research, television, and online media.
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills. Knowledge of SPSS or other analytical software.We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with applicable federal, state and local laws.
