The Role

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join a global engineering company. This highly reputable organisation provides crucial engineering services to a range of sectors, including: Defence, Cyber Security, and Aviation.

The successful candidates will play an important part in the development and support of the company's bespoke software applications and will be able to offer innovative solutions to problems and new methods of working. You will join a friendly team, participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

This position is fully remote so you must have the capabilities to work effectively from home.

The successful candidate will be expected to have the following key skills:

• Experience of the Microsoft development stack
• Web and/or application development knowledge with C# and the .NET / .NET Core framework
• High proficiency with C#, MVC and Web APIs
• Experience of MS SQL Server
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience of designing, building, testing and maintaining modern software applications.
• Understanding of current industry best practice software development processes including Agile

In addition, the following technical skills would be advantageous:

• Experience with a JavaScript framework - Angular, React or Vue
• Knowledge of Azure
• Entity Framework

Important: Due to the nature of the tasks involved, all successful candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo UK Government Security Check (SC) . To be eligible for SC you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last five years.
