Senior Security Consultant

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Bens

Location: London based with travel post COVID (Currently fully remote).

A Global leader within management consultancy is beginning a project to grow out their UK based cyber security consultancy practice, by hiring a Senior Security Consultant to sit within their Technology Consulting team. As the first dedicated cyber security hire in the UK, you will be an integral part of the organization, working on complex projects with world-leading organizations both in the UK and abroad.

As a Senior Security Consultant, you will work with key stakeholders, advising on their information and cyber security environment to help them meet business outcomes. The role offers a unique blend of opportunity; to be a key part in the completion of critically important security projects to some of the most recognized brands globally, but also to work in a small, growing team with a "start-up" feel.

What you will do

  • Provide SME level advice on strategies and concepts to ensure improvement within information and cyber security practices.
  • Have a broad understanding of Information Security Governance, Risk & compliance
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders through review, assessment, and advice on current security processes as well as constantly exploring opportunities for improvement.
  • Relate core business needs and outcomes to information and cyber security to ensure the client is hitting said needs.

The Person

  • 3-5 years Information Security experience with a broad understanding of Information Security Governance, Risk & compliance
  • Experience in delivering high level transformational projects within information and cyber security.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to provide solutions to unexpected problems that occur when working on complex security projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A passion for Information and Cyber Security
