I'm currently working with a UK InsureTech business who have recently internalised their Cyber Defence capability and are looking for a Cyber Defence Specialist to lead the function. You will be leading a team of 2 Analysts underneath you, acting as a technical escalation point on complex investigations and incidents, whilst growing the function as you see fit. They are all set up in an Azure environment with the Microsoft E5 Security suite, so knowledge of these products will be essential e.g, Defender, ATP, Azure AD P2.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and perform analysis of events of interest in the client's environments.
• Working with some of the best EDR technologies such as Crowdstrike and Sophos to monitor threats that have intruded a company's defence.
• Lead the potential threat response and management of security incidents and specifying security controls and mitigation.
• Mentor and develop the skill set of the junior team members through complex incident response investigations.

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience working within a SOC using a number of SIEM tools including Splunk.
• Microsoft E5 Security Suite experience is essential.
• Knowledge of various Incident Response techniques and procedures.
• Prior experience working within a cloud based SOC environment.
• The ability to mentor and lead more junior analysts through multiple complex investigations.

Location - Remote

Salary - £50,000-£65,000 + Bonus + Benefits
