One of the world's leading health and wellness retailers are looking for a Senior Security Operations Engineer to help build out their cyber security capability. They are looking for an experienced security engineer to cover four main areas including, security monitoring, security incident investigations and response, SIEM platform implementation, assisting with tools selections for the SOC and threat intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the SOC team to support the protection of assets, reputation and prevent losses due to breaches.
• Prevent attacks through knowledge and expertise on databases, network, hardware and firewalls
• Root cause analysis incidents and improve response processes.
• Lead the evolution of the SOC capabilities.

Requirements:

• 3 years' experience working in Information and Cyber Security gained within a SOC.
• Demonstrated progression and development from L1 to L3 roles.
• Experience building threat-based Use Cases using frameworks e.g MITRE ATT&CK
• Experience in end to end information security incident management and mitigating and addressing threat vectors including Advanced Persistent Threat (APTs), Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), Phishing, Malicious Payloads, Malware, etc.

Salary: £55,000 + Package

Location: West-Midlands, Remote
