Job Description

My client is a growing but global e-commerce retailer looking to take their analytics to the next level in regards to driving pro-active customer insights. This is an exciting opportunity where you will play a key role in scaling a successful analytics function, working as both a key business leader and analytics guru.



This individual will take ownership for analytics where the focus will be on the improvement and development of retention, acquisition, customer conversion, subscription and merchandising based analytics. This will involve rolling-up your sleeves and leading from the front (re: analytics), whilst maintaining business acumen and gravitas as a key leader within the company.



The ideal candidate will have c.10 years analytics experience working on customer-driven analytics, ideally with a masters or PhD from a top-tier university. You will also have experience managing teams and key senior relationships.



Industry experience is open (with retail a slight preference), however to be successful you must have experience in retention, churn, acquisition, pricing and merchandising analytics.



Summary of key skills & experience:
Hands-on analytics experience (can build models, justify insights)
MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE Retention, churn, acquisition and merchandising analytics experience
Must have strong hands-on SQL skills with firm understanding of data management
Act as key link between the strategy and analytics of customer specific analytics business problems
Experience managing teams, pro-active driving business insights
Ideally Masters or PhD level education within a numerical discipline
Excellent business acumen and gravitas
