Role: Service Designer
Duration: Initial 3 month engagement
Location: Hybrid (1 day a week in Manchester or Birmingham office)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Pay Rate: £600 per day

One of my UK public sector clients are currently looking for a Service Designer. They are recruiting for a Service Designer to join them on a hybrid basis, with travel to either one of their offices based in Manchester or Birmingham. This will be an initial 3 month contract which has a view to extend beyond this date.

They are interested in Service Designers with experience of working in an Agile environment amongst multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements:
* Experience in developing designs based on evidence of user needs and organisational outcomes
* Experience with Government Digital Service
* Ability to understand users needs (USER-Centred Design Focus)
* End to end experience of server design
* Best practice to improve and design the user journey

Responsibilities:
* Design the end-to-end journey of the digital service to meet the users and Agency's needs, including assisted digital and accessibility needs
* Development of design concepts and be able to interpret evidence-based research and incorporate this into the work
* Collaborate and lead effective communication with all stakeholders and project team to support design, build and delivery to meet the user needs
* Align with GDS Service Standards
* Prototyping using GDS toolkits
