Role: SharePoint Infrastructure Engineer
Length: 6 months - with a view to extend
Location: Hybrid - Glasgow / East Kilbride - 1-2 days per week.
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Rate: £550-£600 per day

One of my UK public sector clients are currently looking for a SharePoint Infrastructure Engineer. They are recruiting for a SharePoint Infrastructure Engineer to join them on a hybrid basis , with travel to their office based Glasgow - East Kilbride. This will be an initial 6 month contract which has a high likelihood to extend beyond this date.

They are interested in Infrastructure Engineers with experience of working in an Agile environment amongst multi-disciplinary teams. Past experience of working within the public sector would be ideal, although this is not essential.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES EITHER ACTIVE SC OR DV CLEARANCE

Requirements:
* Experience of administering SharePoint Server / Previous experience of SharePoint server version upgrades and migrations
* Understanding of the infrastructure related aspects of SharePoint including Microsoft Windows Server administration
* Experience in management of system security, patching, maintenance, and upgrade processes
* Comfort using command line interface e.g. PowerShell / Automating tasks with PowerShell
* Understanding of SharePoint features, functionality and how to use them e.g. content types, search, list and libraries
