|Job Title:||Software Developer (All Levels) - Bristol - £30-£55,000 pa|
|Salary:||£30000 - £55000 per annum|

Software Developers (All Levels)
Java, Python or C++
Work on interesting, even newsworthy projects. Get experience on Docker, AWS, Kubernetes and more. Live and work in one of the UK's best cities. What's not to like?
I'm working for a technology organisation that's certainly larger than 'boutique' but by no means a massive, faceless corporation. Since 2006 they've built a great name as a creative software partner able to solve problems that demand something a little bit 'more'.
The company has an impressive range of clients, across the business, public sector and scientific worlds. For the Bristol team, this includes NASA and the European Space Agency, alongside some well-known names in the Defence, Retail, Financial Services and Public Sectors.
Now they're extending an invitation to you to get involved, here in Bristol.
The faces across your desk
There are around over 100 people based in the Bristol office, with a development team ranging from recent Graduates to highly experienced specialists including Masters and PhD holders.
They work using Agile methods and basically drive projects from initial concept at consulting stage, through development and build, to implementation and support.
There's a good atmosphere in the office. You'll be with people who are serious developers but who like to enjoy themselves too, at work and on the occasional night out.
The technical bits
Your ticket in will be your OO programming skills in Java, Python and / or C++, but any of these will open up a whole world of possibility for you to learn new skills.
With this exposure, and the excellent formal training on offer, you'll be able to develop the career path you want, whether as a deep specialist or polygot (and into management).
As I mentioned, there are some inspiring projects to get into, across everything from Retail, Government, Intelligence to Space and Climate Science.
Work from the office and from home
The offices are close to the main transport hub in Bristol and the company operates flexible working. Put in the hours your way, around the 10 - 3 core office time.
It's worth noting that there's very little travel involved, so if you're getting sick of airport departure lounges, here's another reason to get in touch.
Additionally there'll be scope to work remotely for at least some of the time. Precise working patterns are up for discussion. 'Life' needn't get in the way of working here.
As the salary range indicates, we're looking for people at various stages of their software development career.
I've mentioned having Java, Python and / or C++. In addition you should have a degree level qualification or equivalent work experience, plus ideally some experience of working in Agile.
The company invests heavily in its people and is growing rapidly, so there'll be no shortage of career opportunities, in the UK or overseas if you prefer.
Highlights of the benefits package include: childcare support; stock purchase plan; family health cover; PC loan; income protection; 25 days' annual paid leave; pension scheme.
Finally, there's Bristol. Built around an historic harbour, it's a fantastic place to work, live and play - whatever your interests and whatever your stage in life.
